The visual identity needed to not only convey strength and quality but also speak to the ‘layers or coatings’ of paint – the service they provide. Fort Saskatchewan is referred to as ‘The Heartland’ of Alberta but instead of incorporating that symbol I thought that the oil/ pipeline industry would respond better to a substantial logotype that reflected their company values.
